But then please DO NOT profess to be a Social Media Advertising expert! So what’s upset Mr Grumpy today then? Well, I’ve just been targeted with a Facebook advert for a Women in Business Workshop. Not only that, said workshop is going to cover Social Media Advertising. Give me a break! So if you’re so good at it, why on earth are you targeting me. I mean it’s hardly relevant is it? Or is my Social Media profile too in touch with my feminine side? Ever heard of demographic targeted advertising? It really is very powerful, and one of the easiest things to get right is whether your audience is male or female. Rocket science that bit is not. This stuff makes me fume. These so called experts are taking money from people to train them in Social Media Advertising and they don’t even know what they’re doing themselves. Feel free to incinerate your own budget, but please don’t pretend to know what you’re doing and waste other people’s money. Rant over. I’m off to put the kettle on - I promise to have a decaf.
