How to create 52 weeks of content by Great Circle Brand and Marketing

You know that feeling when you should be doing social media posts for your business, but you just sit staring at a blank screen without a single idea?

No matter how hard your rack your brain, nothing comes to mind...

That was me!

I don’t think I’m naturally gifted at writing copy, so when Andy told me I need to be posting on a regular basis, I was a bit stuck.

So he gave me the ’13 Problem / 52 Solution’ Framework which I’m sharing for you today (I’ve put a link below to the spreadsheet).

It works like this:

  1. Think about your ideal customer and come up with 13 Problems they have that you can go some way to helping with a social media post.
  2. Then come up with 4 solutions for each one of those problems.
  3. That will give you 52 subjects for your social media posts.

Consistency is everything with posting on Social Media (previously guilty your honour!), so this framework will help you create at least one post per week.

Pick a consistent day and time to post and stick to it each week.

And to avoid the mad scramble to write something an hour before your post is due, why not curate a month of content in advance. It’s only 4 posts that you can keep in the bag and either post or schedule on the due day.

When you look at the Framework (I’ve put examples on the first sheet), it may seem a bit daunting and you might think “13 problems seems like a lot to think up” - but it really gets you thinking about the problems you are solving and the language your customer uses.

Have fun!
