
How to Launch a Simple (and lucrative) Coaching Offer
One of the biggest reasons people stall when setting up their Kajabi (or any coaching business) is overthinking the product.
They get stuck trying to build the full signature course, map out a big funnel, design a 12-week programme . . . and never get anything live.
But truth be told, you don’t need all that to get started.
In fact, you don’t even need Kajabi to start taking bookings and getting paid. You could do this with a Google Form, PayPal link, and your calendar.
That said, if you’ve got Kajabi, it’s a great place to set up a clean, simple flow that lets people buy, book, and meet you, without any hassle.
My Step-by-Step Setup
How I run my coaching offer:
- I created my Kajabi landing page with two coaching options (I actually have a 3rd custom option, but let's keep it simple for now):
👉 1-hour coaching session
👉 3-hour coaching bundle - Each one links to its own Kajabi Offer.
- When someone buys, they get an automated confirmation email with a link to book their session via Calendly.
- Calendly is connected to my calendar and Zoom, so they see my availability, choose a slot, and get the Zoom link instantly.
- I also collect a few pre-call questions in Calendly: what they want help with and their biggest challenge.
- I get notified when the call is booked, so I can prep using that info.
- On the day, we meet via Zoom, and I use Fathom AI (with their permission) to take smart notes and generate a summary.
- After the call, I send them a short summary with key action points (straight from Fathom). No extra admin needed.
That’s it. Simple, smooth, and works every time.
Why I Don’t Use Kajabi’s Coaching Product (Even Though I Could)
Kajabi’s coaching tool is brilliant for structured coaching, including group and one-to-one sessions.
But many of my clients want flexibility. Some use their time for coaching, others for consultancy or ad hoc Kajabi tech support.
I offer bundles so they can dip in and out and use the minutes as needed. My setup lets them book what they want, when they want.
For me, that’s the best balance.
