How to Track What’s Working (and What’s Not) in Kajabi

KAJABI FOR ENTERPRISE How to track what’s working (and what’s not) in Kajabi

If there’s one thing that trips up most kajabi setups, it’s this...

You build your site, set up your products, and launch your funnel.

Then a few weeks later, crickets.

You have no real idea what’s working, what’s not, or where the drop-off is.

That’s where tracking comes in.

No complicated analytics or dashboards needed - just a simple system that tells you what to do next.

Start With the Big Questions:

  • Are people buying?
  • Are they logging in?
  • Are they completing anything?
  • Are they staying?

It sounds basic, but these are the four points I track on every Kajabi build.

1. Are People Buying?

Look at your offer reports and conversion rates from landing pages.

  • ✅ Check the bounce rate
  • ✅ See how far people scroll
  • ✅ A/B split test different headlines and CTAs

Bonus tip: Add a question to your thank-you page: “What made you join today?” The answers are gold.

2. Are They Logging In?

Kajabi’s Customers tab tells you the last login date for every user. If 50 people bought and only 10 have logged in, something’s broken.

  • ✅ Send a nudge to non-logins after 3 days
  • ✅ Add a video walkthrough in the welcome email
  • ✅ Make the “Start Here” point painfully obvious

3. Are They Completing Anything?

Completion rates are where most people go wrong.

You can see lesson progress per user. You can also trigger automations when someone finishes a lesson, quiz, or assessment.

  • ✅ Celebrate completions with a badge or message
  • ✅ Ask for feedback at the end of modules
  • ✅ Flag users who stall mid-way and offer help

4. Are They Staying?

If you run a membership or subscription, look at churn.

  • ✅ How many are cancelling?
  • ✅ When are they cancelling?
  • ✅ What’s their reason?

If people leave after the first month, you’ve got an onboarding or delivery issue. If they leave after three, your content might need more depth, or your community might be too quiet.

Bonus tip: Don't be afraid to ask them why the cancelled. They may not tell you, but for those who do, it's serious intel on what's going on.

Quick Tools I Use:

  • Kajabi Analytics for traffic and offer conversions
  • UTM for consistent tracking links
  • Fathom for analysing call feedback
  • Google Sheets to log issues or trends

You don’t need fancy dashboards.

Just look for the patterns, ask the right questions, and make one change at a time.

And If It Still Feels Like Guesswork?

You know where I am.

That’s a Wrap

That’s the final post in this Kajabi for Enterprise series, but if there’s a topic you want me to cover next, just ask.

In the meantime, if you want me to look under the hood of your Kajabi setup and show you what’s working (and what’s holding you back), send me a message.

Let’s simplify it.
